  • GPA of at least 3.5

Which indicates a person can maintain good academic progress while engaging with research. Undergraduate researchers will need to receive course credit for their work by enrolling in one of

  • ECE 397 - Individual Study
  • ECE 496 - Senior Research Project
  • CS 397- Independent Study
  • CS 499 - Senior Thesis

or similar program in their department. Individual research topics in the IMPACT group may have additional prerequisites. Click here for a link to project descriptions. Interested undergraduates should send a resume and academic history to Carl Pearson (pearson@illinois.edu).
